The new Fall/Winter 2016 products have been designed with the outdoorsy, Swedish lifestyle in mind, inspired by the elements that shape the cold, beautiful environments of the Scandinavian landscape. Of course, you’re not facing these conditions on the Northern Line, but it’s nice to pretend every now and then.
Key pieces include the Rimfaxe and Brage jacket and trousers. Using fine breathable cotton, as well as recycled nylon and fluorocarbon-free water repellent, they’re lightweight, but ever so warm.
But Who Are Klattermusen?
Crawling on their knees in caves, they emerged into the world looking for warmth and refuge. Sure, there are fires for that sort of thing, but fires go out. Clothes don’t. Unless you’re wearing LED t-shirts. But you shouldn’t. Don’t wear them.
Belly crawling along the dirt to the nearest city, Klättermusen were founded 32 years ago when they found themselves surrounding the table of a biologist. The rest, as they say, is history. Now, you might have some questions about that, but I’m not going to answer them here so don’t even bother.
Over the last three decades, they have strived to design and craft better products, to innovate and to evolve, and so has their visual identity. After a prolonged period of soul-searching and examination, they are now emerging with a new face of Klättermusen.
